Do I need to know anything about SEO?
No. That is the whole point. You type an idea in your own words and ScribeGap does the checking. The labels you act on are plain: Easy, Medium or Hard.
Does ScribeGap publish to my website for me?
No, and that is deliberate. Every draft waits for you to read it, change what you want and publish it yourself. It is your website that carries the consequences of what goes on it, so the decision should be yours.
Will the writing actually sound like me?
ScribeGap learns from writing you have already done, and shows you what it concluded about your tone, pacing and vocabulary so you can check before you rely on it.
Will ScribeGap get me to the top of Google?
Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is selling you something. A new article normally takes weeks to appear in Google at all. What we can do is make sure you are writing about things people actually search for, that you have a realistic chance of ranking for, and then, on Pro, show you what happened in Search Console.
Where do your numbers come from?
Monthly search volume comes from Google’s own keyword data. Ranking Ease is our own score, built from the average number of other websites linking to the pages currently on page one. That count is a fact anyone can check; where we draw the line between Easy, Medium and Hard is our judgement about what a smaller site can realistically win. Where we have no data, the columns say so rather than filling in a guess.
What does ScribeGap do for a brand new site with no traffic?
ScribeGap reads your home page to work out what your business actually is, suggests the searches your customers would type, then checks every one of those guesses against real search volume before spending anything. Whatever survives becomes your starting point. A new site in a competitive market will take longer, and we would rather tell you that than promise you a quick result.
What happens to my Google data?
We request a single read-only Search Console permission. We cannot post, change or delete anything in your Google account, and you can disconnect at any time.
